Of course Israel has a right to self-defence, but you don’t stop conflicts with more conflict, nor violence with more violence, nor revenge with more revenge – except in badly run kindergartens.

Same with murder, riots, or violence in the home or on the street. Think first, then act. You need strategies, not slogans. Grrrrr.

I’ve tried to convey this with the cover of my book – so that even those who don’t venture to turn the page can gain an inkling of the grossly irrational thinking in today’s self-destructive politics.
